How to notify learners on various events within your course platform?

This guide provides a step by step process to notify your existing learners every time you make some changes in your course platform.

While making necessary changes within your course platform, you can make your learners aware of the same.

You can send them either a web push notification which will land them to your course website and/or a mobile push notification which will take them to your mobile app.

Here are a few courses of events during which you can notify them via web push and/or mobile push:

Case 1: While Uploading Your Course Content

Open your course dashboard, go to the left menu & click on “CONTENT”. Now select the course you want to update & go to its “course builder”.

Now, click on “ Add new chapter”. Once you upload the content, click on “Save”.

While clicking on “Save”, a new box will pop up. If you want to update learners about a new chapter, click on “Save & Notify Learners”. Check the “web push” if you just want to notify learners on your website and/or click on “mobile push” to notify learners via the app.

Case 2: Manually Enrol New Learner into a Course

Visit your Dashboard, go to the "Courses", then go to the course you want to select.

Just below your preferred course, click on the "Learners" section.

You will be redirected to the Learners' Details tab of that particular course. Now click on “Enrol”, search the user & click on “okay”. Check the “web push” if you just want to notify learners on your website and/or click on “mobile push” to notify learners via the app.

Case 3: Posting on Public Forum

Visit your Dashboard, scroll down and select "Engagement". Now, head over to "Public Forum". On the top of the page, you can get an option to post as well as notify learners.

Check the “web push” if you just want to notify learners on your website and/or click on “mobile push” to notify learners via the app.

When you comment on someones’ post in the public forum, they get automatically notified of your comment.
